Hey friends! My name is Rachel, but most call me Rae This blog began in December 2014 as a way for me to share recipes, fitness tips, and just random topics others may be able to relate to. I’m a 23-year-old teacher who has always had a passion for fitness and food. I try to live a healthy, balanced life but also enjoy my favorite indulgences.
I’m a big advocate for healthy eating, but I have a HUGE sweet tooth. If you’re like me, you want to be able to enjoy something sweet and not feel that guilty about it! Also, I’m big on simplicity when it comes to recipes and cooking. When I used to go searching for “healthy” recipes, I would come across some that had SO many random ingredients in them, ingredients I didn’t have readily available, or ingredients that I had never even heard of. So, I would tweak some of these recipes and make them as simple as possible, yet still satisfying. I hope you’ll find my recipes simple, easy to follow, and as enjoyable as I do!
Also, each recipe includes the Nutritional Information for you Macro counters
p.s. More and more recipes will be on their way!
Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I love experimenting with different weight lifting splits, exercises, circuits, and cardio variations. I’ve basically tried it all! Fitness is something I enjoy doing and enjoy helping others with as well. Being strong, healthy, and confident in my own body is something I want others to be able to feel, as it has taken me a while to get to this point.
I’m on my way to becoming an NASM Certified Personal Trainer (slowly but surely), so as I learn and grow more in that area, so will the fitness section of my blog, so stay tuned!
Although there may be times when I do not have much to say, I do have my moments where I just want to ramble. “Rae Rambles” includes blurbs about random things from my personal life, life in general, insights/tips I have, or just the frivolous stories or thoughts I want to share. I hope you will find yourselves relating to some of my rambles or learning something new and insightful!
